She also hosted the show's variety program It's Showtime from noon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina native to Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father, James Ernest Curtis Smith got married to Ojales back in 1982. Jasmine is her younger sister. is also a professional actor. Their father's side had a half-sister named Clare who passed away in 2007 from a heart disease when she was the age of four months.
