Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a degree of with a laude for Theatre and Communication. When she moved to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in stage, choreographing and acting in more than two dozen productions. Kelly began landing movie and television roles after she learned improvisation, and later became an Theatre West company member. Her role with Naomi Watts as Samara the character on The Ring 2 is well recognized, but she's better recognized for playing the vibrant receptionist of Two and a Half Men.
